The Food Bank is nice, but think outside of the box... legal experience? Look for a Teen Court or other local restorative project. See yourself as a good role model? Big Brother/ Big Sister is always looking for some help. Or form a group at work, maybe something dealing with the environment (definitely a hot topic at the issue)... if nothing else, it'll get people talking, and once you have some attention, just use the rest of your charisma to win them over! Go to every bar/club you can find. Eventually you'll find one with the right vibe for you. And there you will find like-minded folks. Also, you can get a part time job. Instead, I just worked extra hours until my wife returned from studying abroad in London. p.s.
