I used to travel a bit for a consulting gig that I had and it was awesome. I think that its a great topic for a post, just be careful to avoid a rodomontade, listing your experiences. Great post though!

If you can, I highly recommend planning a weekend trip if possible. I did weekend trips to Vegas, Orange County, Boston and a couple of other cities while traveling.

I guess it’s different if your trips are “one offs” versus being on the road all the time. I traveled every week for 10 months, so I used to leave a big suitcase with ALL my clothes at the hotel and only pack for weekends when I’d come home.

My favourite part of business trips is the fact that all expenses are paid…

Ryan- Thanks for the feedback. I don’t consider my post as bragging but more I’m sharing my business trip experiences with others (although, it’s safe to say I’m proud I have this opportunity). As AJ states, he has only been on one business trip. What better place to learn about business trips for millennial professionals than at Newly Corporate? I personally find settings like the Dolce Center fascinating. I welcome any of our readers to guest post on a creative “Day in the Life” sort of post.

Hey Jennifer,

I’ve only been on one business trip, and it was horrible. My first time in NYC, and I had to share a small hotel room with an unpleasant manager. And the hotel’s hot water wasn’t working.

I’m afraid to go on another trip.
