Daily Business Zen: Martin Luther King Jr.
MLK will always be known as one of the greatest citizens in American history. His voice and message carry on some 40 years after his death. We might not all be African-American, and therefore really know the struggle he was fighting, but few would argue that we are not all better off today for what he did. Here are a few of the words from MLK that I find most inspiring. MLK would be 79 today:
“Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable… Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.”
